The memorial complex has been dedicated to the martyrs and soldiers who laid their lives in the massacre. The Smarak has been renovated after 102 years of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and has now been dedicated to the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Smarak and further added that all the 492 names will go up on the walls. The event was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and several other dignitaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also unveil 4 new museum galleries at the complex.
