3:04Now PlayingKerala's administration opted to implement a night curfew on Saturday after the state's population surpassed 30,000 for the fourth day in a row. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced the decision, which will take effect on Monday. The ban will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the state. Additional COVID rules were also published by the state administration on Saturday. On Friday, Kerala reported 32,801 COVID-19 infections and 179 coronavirus-related fatalities. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state is currently 39,46,307, with a mortality toll of 20,313. In the Pinarayi Vijayan-led state, there are presently 1,95,796 active coronavirus cases.
