7:22Now PlayingThere are more than 250 students who are from Afghanistan studying in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The war-torn country Afghanistan has left many living in the city in crisis. Several students who are today clueless as to whether they will get money for sustenance from parents and their family members, are telling us that they have been told by landlords to either vacate the houses or pay rents. The Federation of International Students has written to universities to address their problem. The students we have spoken to tell us that since the nation has sunk into crisis, as their parents are facing challenges of survival, they won't be in a position to send in money. Every month, the students receive anywhere between 15,000 and 20,000. The money is used to pay rent, semester exams, and even for their food.
