These visuals are from Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) Netas held a protest without observing any covid norms. Their motive was to raise oppression against merging of Jayalalitha University with Annamalai University. Many of the Political Party members gathered in crowds and chanted protest slogans. This rally included Senior AIADMK Politician O. Panneerselvam.
Another case of covid norms being neglected is reported from Belagavi, Karnataka where AIMIM Netas conducted a political rally without following social distancing protocol. FIRs have been filed against 300 Netas and Karyakartas excluding Owaisi.
