Prime Minister Modi chaired the meeting and the virtual summit was attended by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Afghanistan should not become a “source of terrorism” and turn into a “threat to its neighboring countries.” He also praised the choice of the theme by India, marking it as “relevant.” He added that Russia is ready to continue cooperation with its partners in the BRICS group.
