5:15Now PlayingAs per the latest updates on the Punjab covid-19 curbs, the Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, has ordered an extension of the existing restrictions till September 30th. In light of the upcoming festival season, there is a possibility of a limit on social, public, political gatherings and celebrations up to 300 people. Sources suggest that there'll be a strict imposing of wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. This is a step taken by the Punjab CM to avoid spreading the virus and losing control of the covid situation in the state. Additionally, the Punjab government has also issued conditions for the government employees as well. Any employee who has failed to take even the first dose of vaccine will be sent back home on compulsory leave post 15th September.
