Congress is saying that the investigation is unnecessary as the session is over and the case need not be revived. Congress leader Malikarjun Kharge has tweeted that he has requested the Rajya Sabha speaker and said that there is now a necessity for an enquiring committee to probe the events in the Rajya Sabha where several members were accused of creating the ruckus and even assaulting marshals.
