A significant spike in covid cases has been witnessed in Mumbai ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrations. This has raised many concerns for the Maharashtra government as they had just recently announced how another lockdown is not an option. As per reports, 400+ cases have been recorded every day since September 1st. People have come out in large groups to shop and celebrate the festival, and the results are already taking a turn. Experts have also issued a warning, stating that lowering the guard down now can be very costly. The big question is now whether the state of Maharashtra can control this situation, or is there worse in line?
