He also delivered a speech before media and thanked PM Modi for the opportunity and the support. Before stepping down from his position, he said that the decision has taken in the great interest of the state and he is willing to take up new responsibility as well. He also said that Gujarat has done a lot in the last 5 years and is still progressing. Rupani also talked about his party and said that BJP always works as a team. Gujarat is one of those states that will have assembly elections in the early months of 2022.
