Two days after the accident, the Bangalore Development Authority under whose jurisdiction the road is, said that the accident spot would be filled with concrete and levelled, while the other potholes around the area would be filled up too. However, Mirror Now's reality check shows that most parts of the area have still not been filled and the ones that have been filled have been shoddily filled using sand and gravel. This, even after the BDA said it would be completed by Wednesday. As agencies continue to set false deadlines, people continue to risk their lives traveling on the city's roads.
