The survey was carried out for over 20 hours and Sonu Sood's family members and staff were also present in the premises where the survey was conducted. The opposition has called it selective targeting after Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood became the brand ambassador for Aam Aadmi Party's development program. However, it is also being reported that Sonu Sood garnered attention during the first wave of the COVID pandemic and sent people back to their hometowns, he is now being questioned over how he managed to arrange the funds.
