Commending India's Vaccination coverage, the Director of National Center for Disease Control, Dr Sujeet Singh said 75 crore jabs is a big number and we are proud of it.
"Vaccination is an important tool to fight COVID. We are aiming to reduce the mortality and reduction of transmission by vaccination," Dr Singh said.
When asked on situation in Kerala, Dr Singh said the
case load in Kerala of the new cases is going to decrease, that will happen very soon and the state will have a very decreased level of infection will be there in next 15 to 20 days.
Dr. Singh further said that India has submitted the required documents and details to WHO for Emergency Use License of COVAXIN, adding that by the end of this month India should be able to get the approval from WHO.
