On 21 December the cases in Mumbai were reported at 327, then the next day it was 490 and then we saw a spike of 602 cases and today it stands at 683 cases. This is a worrying situation that the administration has been pointing out time and again and appealing to people to follow all the covid protocols thoroughly. Mumbai is also the city having the highest number of Omicron cases after Pune. BMC has issued a new set of guidelines in which they banned gatherings on Christmas as well as on New years.
