7:20Now PlayingA Child Rights Body has asked for a halt to the Aam Aadmi Party's 'Desh Ke Mentor' scheme which 'connects children to unknown persons.' The body has claimed that the scheme also 'exposes children to danger.' The body also added that 'it will be suspending this programme until the problems are resolved.' In response to the statement, AAP has said that 'putting hinderances to a path breaking scheme shows the shallowness of the BJP and its Government machinery.' AAP had launched the scheme in October 2020 that aims at providing voluntary mentorship to students of class 11th and 12th. People can sign up to become their mentors through an app. MLA Atishi joins Mirror Now to weigh in on the issue. Keep watching to know more!
