4:25Now PlayingAs per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, political updates come in from the poll-bound state of Goa. Two more Bhartiya Janata Party MLAs resign ahead of the upcoming Goa polls. The MLAs, Isidore Fernandes, Deputy Speaker of Goa Assembly and PWD Minister, Deepak Pauskar have quit the Bhartiya Janata Party camp after ticket distribution. Both party leaders were denied tickets in the first list of candidates. The BJP announced its first list of 34 candidates for the Goa Assembly election yesterday, revealing that CM Pramod Sawant will contest from the Sanquelim seat. As per the election schedule announced by the Election Commission of India on January 8, the state will go to the polls on February 14 whereas the counting of votes shall take place on March 10.
