Reportedly, The Thane Police arrested Kalicharan for making disparaging and derogatory remarks about Mahatma Gandhi. The Hindu religious leader was arrested in Chhattisgarh by the Maharashtra Police. Moreover, apart from Chhattisgarh, Kalicharan is set to be produced in a court on today. Earlier, A case was filed against him at Naupada police station over hate speech targeting minorities during a 'Dharam Sansad' in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur in December 26.
