The deputy municipal commissioner (DMC) level officer will head the committee, whose report will be submitted in fifteen days to BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta. The fire broke out at 7:28 AM, killing six people and injuring 23 more. The fire was brought under control by 10 am, but it took almost five hours to fully douse it.
