Mukul Wasnik is the General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee. However, it is being reported that his name has been rejected by the party. The meeting, in which Wasnik's name was rejected, was also attended by Priyanka Gandhi, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, and Senior leader P Chidambaram. Meanwhile, several leaders including Harish Rawat have stated that the party needs to deeply analyze its flaws.
