10:08Now PlayingA parliamentary panel has flagged concerns over the shortage of staff at six AIIMS in the country. The panel, in its report, named AIIMS Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh and also stated that none of these have a satisfactory number of faculty and staff. The panel advised the health ministry to prepare a road map and provide necessary infrastructure, faculty, and paramedical staff to all the 20 AIIMS functioning and scheduled to be operationalized in the next three years. We are joined by Dr. MC Mishra. former director of AIIMS-Delhi, and Dr. Anil Goyal, secretary of Indian Medical Association to discuss the issue. Listen in!
