The top court will be hearing that plea on 1st April which states that the renovation will be impacting Ashram's simplicity. Earlier, the Gujarat High Court has dismissed Tushar Gandhi's plea. Tushar Gandhi filed had an appeal in the apex court after the Gujarat High Court, with an order dated November 25, 2021, had dismissed his petition. On mentioning by senior advocate Indira Jaisingh who had appeared for Tushar Gandhi seeking an urgent hearing, Chief Justice NV Ramana has assured that the matter will be listed for hearing on 1st April.
