2:27Now PlayingIn the latest developments concerning the Birbhum Violence case, the Kolkata High court has handed over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation. This decision comes after the BJP and Congress leaders unitedly demanded a probe by the CBI and questioned the credibility of the SIT that was formed to investigate the matter. The court has directed the SIT to hand over all the reports and accused who have been arrested in this case so far to CBI. The CBI has also been asked to submit a report of the investigation by April 7. This is also seen as a major setback for the TMC government in the state.
