15:52Now PlayingThe India-China military stand-off in eastern Ladakh and the geo-political situation arising out of Russia's invasion of Ukraine figured during visiting Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi's talks with S Jaishankar in New Delhi on Friday. Ahead of his talks with Jaishankar, Wang also met national security advisor Ajit Doval. This is the first visit by a high-profile Chinese official since the Galwan clash of June 2020, that saw both sides suffer casualties when soldiers engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Indian and Chinese forces remain locked in a stand-off at several places along the LAC in Ladakh region.
