This charge sheet has been filed concerning a sexual assault case that was filed against him in 2020 by a co-dancer who alleged him of sexual harassment. The co-dancer had claimed that dance master Ganesh Acharya had asked for sexual favors multiple times. This comes as major trouble for the choreographer as the Mumbai police has filed a case in the metropolitan court under sections 354A, 354C, along with various other stringent charges under the IPC.
