The bizarre incident took place in a village, which is 40-km away from Sasaram, with the help of the villagers who thought that they were helping the government officials. The bridge was dismantled using gas cutters and bulldozers. The entire incident took place in a broad daylight after which the state water resources department filed an FIR. Meanwhile, the thieves are still untraceable by the police.
