The Union Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the “precautionary” third dose of Covid-19 vaccines would be available for all aged above 18 years who have completed nine months after their second dose from April 10. However, for now, such vaccination will be available only at private centres, the ministry further said. Ahead of that, the centre has written to states Delhi, Maharashtra, Kerala, Mizoram, and Haryana expressing concerns over the recent rise in the covid cases.
