This project will create over 13,000 jobs. Maruti has been promised that the quota will be applicable to workers who are paid up to ₹30,000 per month. Maruti Suzuki has decided to make an investment of around ₹20,000 crores for the plant. Haryana Government has allocated 900 acres of land to Maruti Suzuki for the new plants. Maruti's new plants are to be set up in Kharkhoda in the Sonipat district of the state. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today interacts with Maruti Suzuki India Chairman RC Bhargava at the event for the signing of an agreement by Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
