YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe government of India on Wednesday claimed that India becomes the largest producer and consumer by displacing Brazil in 2022. And the food secretary of India Sudhanshu Pandey has claimed this and further added that the global sugar shortage has increased the demand for sugar and now the government has decided to cap sugar export. Earlier this year government imported duty-free soya bean and sunflower oil for two years. And the export is beating all records and this is the highest level of exports. Addressing the media, the Food Secretary said, "Sugar exports have risen sharply from about 50,000 tonnes in 2016-17 to 10 million tonnes this year. Please take it out of mind that it is any kind of curb."
