The Kerala High Court voiced concern on Wednesday about adolescents being uninformed of the repercussions of having sexual interactions with each other, even if they are consensual, under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the modified Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. "As it stands, even if there was consent between the two minors, it will not be a valid consent & it will not be a defence for any accused in the court of law," says Ansh Singh Luther, Advocate.
