If elected, the 64-year-old leader from Odisha will be the first tribal and the second woman to become the President of India. The election result will be declared on July 21, while it will be held on July 18. The term of current President Ram Nath Kovind will end on 24th July. As per the rules, the presidential elections should be held before the completion of the incumbent's president.
