After making the masks mandatory, fines are being imposed of Rs. 500 if you do not wear a mask. The Chennai Corporation has issued a statement that a fine will be imposed on those who do not wear masks in all public places. Commercial complex needs to ensure that all people are wearing masks and following the appropriate Covid behaviour, including social distances. Yesterday, as per the latest reports, there were over 2,000 fresh cases that were registered in the last 24 hours. The number of cases registering every day has spiked and several measures have been put up by Tamil Nadu government.
