Spice Jet has said that the flight was diverted to Karachi because of an indicator light malfunctioning and the Karachi flight has landed safely in Karachi. The passengers were safely disembarked. Spice Jet also denies any fact of an emergency landing in Karachi or that there was any kind of engine malfunction. What they say is that there was a malfunction in an indicator because it was seen that the fuel was coming out drastically as far as the aircraft was concerned. That is why the landing was made. They also found out that the fuel levels were not going down, but despite that, another additional aircraft has been sent to Karachi for the passengers.
