YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe India Meteorological Department on Friday issued an orange warning in sections of Maharashtra, including Palghar, Satara, and Pune, as downpours continue to pound areas of India. In addition, capital Mumbai has been placed on yellow alert. Six talukas in the south Gujarat and Saurashtra region received more than 200 mm of rain in the 24 hours ending at 6 am on Friday, according to officials. Since the IMD has projected "heavy to very heavy rainfall" at various locations in south Gujarat and Saurashtra in the upcoming 24 hours, there doesn't seem to be any immediate relief in sight. Meanwhile, severe rains continued to pummelled portions of Karnataka, and a teenager was killed when a house wall collapsed.
