as posted by the channelBengaluru Demolition: People are in jeopardy as the demolition drive in Karnataka's capital Bengaluru continues. The BBMP's drive to remove encroachments on stormwater drains (SWD) across the city has left individuals in economically disadvantaged areas dismayed as they struggle to find an alternate spot to transfer. According to BBMP authorities, the local body is not required to deliver a notice under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, and a three-day notice is sufficient for occupied buildings. The residents are having difficulty finding a rental house. Meanwhile, the BBMP continues to demolish any illegal encroachments in order to cleanse the city of floodwaters. Stay tuned for additional developments. Tune in for more
