The Congress leader has questioned the timing of the summon amid the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra. 'It is an attempt to derail Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra and also to interrupt smooth functioning of assembly sessions, he said. He has alleged harassment and said that he is ready to cooperate, but the summon is coming in the way of his constitutional and political duties. DK Shivakumar was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in September 2019 in the money laundering case, post which he was granted bail by the Delhi High court in October 2019.
