Kolkata Rally Violence | Mamata Banerjee-led Bengal government has submitted report on the last week's Kolkata rally violence and said that it was the cops who were assaulted and properties were vandalised. The BJP’s ‘Nabanna Chalo’ protest march to the state secretariat turned violent last week after party supporters and workers clashed with police. Several police personnel, including an assistant commissioner of Kolkata Police were injured, a police vehicle was set ablaze and many activists of the saffron party, including former deputy mayor Meena Devi Purohit were wounded in the violence. There has been a political blame game between BJP and TMC over the violence. Watch the news to know more.
