Yesterday, almost 80 MLAs submitted resignation letters due to Ashok Gehlot's leaving as CM chair and Sachin Pilot's being able to become the new CM. However, after many loyalists resigned, the Congress high command was extremely disappointed with the events that transpired in a single day. Top leaders held discussions with many of the Ashok Gehlot loyalist MLAs about the resignation.
