1:57Now PlayingThe Tamil Nadu police have refused to permit the RSS route march in 24 out of 50 places where permission was sought. March has been allowed in 3 places. Meanwhile, permission has been granted to conduct indoor meetings in 23 other places. The march is scheduled to take place on 6th November 2022. The Madras high court threatened to take measures against the authorities if they disobeyed its decision and ordered Tamil Nadu police to allow the RSS to march across 49 places on November 6. In response to a contempt of court petition filed by R Karthikeyan, joint secretary of the RSS's Thiruvallur unit, on Friday, Justice G K Ilanthiraiyan, who had issued the order regarding the rally last month, ordered the state government and police to grant permission and notify the court of the same by October 31.
