Since the family did not submit a formal complaint, the Pant Nagar police department in the area has filed a report of accidental death in the case. According to a police officer from Pant Nagar police station, the incident happened on Sunday night as Dalisha Verma and her parents were at Neelyog Mall. Dalisha reportedly began playing in the mall's Kids Zone when the family entered it on the fifth level, according to the police. She climbed up the slide and went off as she descended, suffering head injuries.
