The state election commissioner Vijay Dev says,'' The model code of conduct will be in effect as of right now and the results of the vote will be made public on December 7''. The MCD elections will be announced on November 7 and the deadline for registering nominations is November 14. Candidates may withdraw from the election until November 19 after the nominations are scrutinized on November 16. He stated that a total of 250 wards will have elections.
