1:11Now PlayingAnubrata Mondal, the leader of Trinamul's Birbhum faction, was in contact with Anarul Hossain, the accused party leader in the Bogtui tragedy, prior to the March 21 massacre last year, according to an affidavit the CBI filed with the Calcutta High Court on Monday. According to sources, the CBI stated in its affidavit that it had proof Anarul, the Trinamul block president at the time, had spoken to Mondal before the event in Bogtui, which claimed ten lives. The CBK submitted the affidavitr a day before Mondal's bail petition is scheduled to be heard by a division bench chaired by Justice Joymalya Bagchi. Watch the news to know more.
