1:53Now PlayingA fresh development in the case has come to light amid widespread protests throughout Delhi in response to the death of a 20-year-old woman on Sunday in the Sultanpuri neighbourhood of the capital. According to the police inquiry, the deceased woman was travelling with a friend at the time of the occurrence, not by herself.
Two girls were riding the scooter when the car struck the two-wheeler in the Kanjhawala neighbourhood, according to the police. The first girl who was hurt slightly after the collision apparently ran away out of panic, while the other girl allegedly fell in front of the car and was run over. Prior to the incident around 2:00 am on Sunday, the accused had borrowed a Maruti Suzuki Baleno from a friend, according to the FIR. Sources said that they took the car from their friend and later left the damaged vehicle at his residence. Watch the video to know more.
