4:21Now PlayingAfter questioning Kuntal Ghosh of the Trinamool Congress youth wing for two days, the Enforcement Directorate arrested him in the Bengal teachers recruitment scam. Ghosh is a TMC youth wing member from Hoogly, and his flats were raided by ED officials on Friday in connection with the case. Kuntal Ghosh was arrested based on physical evidence. According to the CBI, TMC leaders allegedly raised more than Rs 100 crore from job seekers in order to hire them as teachers and staff at state-run schools across West Bengal between 2014 and 2021. Tapas Mondal, president of the Bengal Association of Private-Run Colleges and Institutions, accused Kuntal Ghosh of soliciting money from job seekers during his CBI interrogation.
