Earlier, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri “requested” state-run oil companies to consider reducing fuel prices if international crude prices stabilise in the coming days and their losses were gone. Puri claimed that the public sector retailers chose not to burden consumers by boosting pump prices because fuel costs have stayed steady. He also clarified, "The government did not request them to hold the price. Pricing is decided by them. They don’t listen to me.” Watch the video to know more.
