4:13Now PlayingAs per the latest news on Mirror Now, A new helicopter manufacturing factory of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) opened on Monday, it is India’s largest such facility that will initially produce light utility helicopters (LUHs).
The HAL plans to produce more than 1,000 helicopters with varying load-carrying capacities, with a total business of over Rs 4 lakh crore over the next 20 years. The HAL already has a plant in Bengaluru that produces advanced light helicopters (ALHs). " If we compare the the amount of investment in aerospace sector before 2014, it has been increased by 5 times in last 8-9 years" said Prime Minister Modi.
