14:06Now PlayingIn this episode of The Urban Debate, anchor Samia Kapoor will discuss how Home Minister Amit Shah visited two more violent areas in Manipur today and spoke with representatives of many civil society organizations and law enforcement officers. Shah was welcomed by a large crowd as he travelled to the border town of Moreh in the Tengnoupal and Kangpokpi districts. The ethnic violence that began earlier this month has severely affected the two areas. Over 300 people have been hurt, and there have been at least 80 fatalities. The Home Minister spoke with retired security officers, civil society organizations, tribal elders, and other authorities over the course of the last two days. The Home Minister also interacted with those from the families impacted by the incident. We are joined by a few panelists expressing their views on this issue. "This will definitely help. It's really great that the Home Minister of India has from three days consecutively there in Manipur," stated BL Vohra, Ex-Manipur Home Secretary.
