According to the sources, over 6500 people have been safely evacuated from 8 coastal districts. The 8 districts are from South and North Gujarat, especially the Kutch area, Porbandar, Dwarka, Jamnagar, and Somnath. The landfall is expected to impact 16 lakh people which are in a radius of 10 km from the coastline. Around 15 NDRF teams have been stationed and 6 of them are in reserve.
