He has delighted millions of chess enthusiasts, mostly Indians, with his creativity, intellect, and impressive performance in the World Cup. Prag turned 18 during the ongoing event in Baku and has advanced to the final as an underdog who became a serious contender. In 2016, at the age of 10 years, 10 months, and 19 days, he became the youngest International Master (IM) at the time. In the World Chess championship held in Baku, he is currently going against Magnus Carlsen, a 5-time world champion, and has already won against No. 2 and No. 3 in the World Cup. All hopes are on him to clinch that world title, but as the second Indian to reach the finale he has already made India proud.
