The EU's top officials are also expressing their support for Ukraine's bid to join the EU. This meeting is happening in Kyiv, Ukraine, to show ongoing solidarity with Ukraine in its struggle against Russia's invasion and to expedite Ukraine's EU membership process. Foreign ministers from all 27 EU member states were invited to this gathering in Kyiv, marking the first time the EU has held such a meeting outside its own territory.
