3:34Now PlayingIn its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the DMK on Wednesday pledged not to adopt controversial measures like the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and Uniform Civil Code, as well as to reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in the event that the INDIA bloc were to win at the Centre. Additionally, DMK leader M K Stalin unveiled a list of 21 contenders, ten of whom are already serving as MPs. Renominated from their customary seats of Sriperumbudur, Thoothukudi, and Nilgiris (SC) correspondingly are notable figures including T R Baalu, Kanimozhi, and A Raja. The DMK is running for 22 state seats.
