31:06Now PlayingOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the US women’s soccer team and their public outcry for equal pay. This, said Travis, is outrageous in light of a recent report showing US women’s soccer players make more money for producing less revenue, and men are actually underpaid and being discriminated against because of their gender.
Clay Travis then mentioned LeBron James and his “Taco Tuesday” social media post where he spoke in a Mexican accent. This, said Travis, is not offensive to him, but is in direct opposition to the social justice warrior narrative to which James claims to ascribe. Travis added, “Why isn’t there equality to this standard? The same precedents and standards are not being followed by all races.”
Clay Travis also made reference to night one of the Democratic debates on CNN last night, calling it a “snoozefest.” Tonight, however, might be far more interesting. According to Travis, Biden, Warren, Mayor Pete, Sanders, and Harris are the only candidates with a shot at their party’s nomination.
Clay Travis then commented on Mario Lopez’s “controversial” statement regarding three years olds and their capacity to determine their gender. Lopez is under the impression that young children are unable to pick his/her own gender at such a young age. Clay agrees.
Clay Travis shared a recent story in Kentucky involving a camper who decided to open fire on what he thought was Bigfoot. According to the camper, he barely missed an opportunity to bring down the ever-elusive Sasquatch for the first time.
Finally, Clay Travis commented on Cincinnati Reds pitcher Amir Garrett and last night’s on-the-field brawl with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Garrett took on the entire team, much like Jon Snow took on an entire army in Game of Thrones before relief eventually came his way, and was unprecedented in how the fight started. Usually the hitter charges the pitcher, the pitcher doesn’t charge a hitter, let alone an entire dugout.
